    New Blog Revealed

Brett and I had a super busy day and I took a bunch of pictures which I now have to resize because they're all like 3000 pixels wide and I'm pretty sure you don't want to deal with THAT.  So I'm going to keep this post as short as possible so I can get to resizin' for that one while Brett and Angel watch Crusoe.*

Remember a couple of weeks ago when I told you we were working on a new restaurant review blog?  Welllll, it's up now.

    Lafayettefoodscene.com

There are only a handful of entries there as of yet, but within a couple of weeks it will be chock full, I'm sure.  The others who have started writing there are Beth from the band The Blue Eclipse and Drake, who has a semi-personal(?  Really I have no idea what genre it fits into) blog, Judged by the Cover.  I decided to ask Drake to write for LFS after reading one of his Bobby the Doom Lord reviews which are entertaining whether you live near these places or not.  Here is one of my favorite lines:

One seemingly positive quality of the local pizzeria which one might immediately notice is the fact that prices are relatively cheap in comparison to other similar venues, but one should keep lessons of the past in mind and remember that Bisbano's is a particularly deceptive vendor, sort of like that crack dealer at the tracks who is always cutting your shit with baking soda.

So.  Now that I've posted copious links, your homework is to go visit Drake's blog, go visit The Blue Eclipse's Myspace page, and of course go visit Lafayettefoodscene.com.  Oh, and I guess you can visit Crusoe too, if you want.  That's for bonus points.

In the meantime, my homework is to finish resizing some pictures so that I can write an entry tomorrow about today's adventures.

*When did my dog start having favorite TV shows?  She was just sitting with me on the sofa, all tuckered out, and as soon as the music for Crusoe came on she went and sat with Brett who answered my confusion with, "Me and Angel watch this show together every Saturday.  She likes Dundee." as if it were the most normal thing in the world.
