Updated with pictures: Christmas Recap

Hope everyone had a great Christmas!  It was a nice relaxing day for me.  We didn't do a huge thing, just a small family event.  Like I said on Thanksgiving, I only have two family members living here, and Brett has..none, so we usually do things low-key.  For Thanksgiving a family friend spent the day with us, but she wasn't feeling well for Christmas and was unable to join us this time.

Nonetheless, we enjoyed our Christmas hamburgers, opened gifts, and got to see my dad's side of the family on Yahoo Messenger's video chat. My sister and I drank entirely too much wine, I think, and giggled incessantly at everything, especially the Christmas puppy she and her girlfriend got to bring home.  Apparently, a couple of days ago a friend of my dad's found this puppy on the side of the road and gave it to my dad, knowing that he is a dog-lover and would be able to find him a proper home.  April and Amanda fell in love with him and decided to take him themselves.  He looks to be only 4-6 weeks old, and we are thinking he might be a boxer.  He has these really wide back legs and a slightly wrinkly, slightly smooshed face.  He's absolutely adorable, attacking all the flowers in the yard and gnawing on anyone whose fingers get a little too close to his face.  Here he is with Dad's dog Skippy.  Any ideas on what kind of puppy he might be?:

After we left Dad's house, Brett and I were planning on seeing a movie.  Last year on Christmas we saw National Treasure: Book of Secrets (terrible movie, btw) and wanted to make movie-seeing on Christmas a tradition.  Unfortunately, no good movies were playing, so we opted to rent something on Amazon's Video on Demand.  We ended up with Cashback, which was pretty cute, but in a year when we try and remember what we watched on Christmas last year, we will probably have forgotten it.

Right now you're off "trading your time" and I'm working on your blog!
